Lord Adonis on “Reversing Beeching – Reshaping Britain’s Railways for the 21st Century”

In his speech to the Institute of Public Policy research on June 7th 2019, Lord Andrew Adonis made a good case for the reinstatement of a number of lines. We support his overall approach: although it should be noted that he did not mention the Minsters Line. Our view is that this line is an excellent example of the sort of line that should be reopened.
